REFORM AND EXTENSION OF SAN JUAN DE DIOS HOSPITAL
A building designed by Víctor Eusa, completed in 1943 has been the one that has housed for years the Hospital San Juan de Dios of Pamplona, which has undergone a reform and enlargement in order to be reconditioned to the current needs of society. The intervention, on the one hand by the Cataloguing of the Municipal Plan of Pamplona of the existing building, and, on the other, are the conditions of occupancy and maximum height of the urbanistic file of the plot. Finally, a project is generated that is inserted in the plot and in the urban image.
The hospital manifests itself as a group of pavilions surrounded by landscaped spaces, the original ones being born from the ground and the new ones floating on it. And, all along the front, the building creates its own pedestrian street between gardens.
