REFORM OF THE URANTZU COURT WALL, IRUN, GUIPÚZCOA 

2ND BEST TECHNICAL PROPOSAL. DESIGN CONTEST

The proposal made by the azpilicueta architecture team; Miguel Larraburu, achieved the second best technical proposal. Principal materials: steel structure. Envelope of metal trays. Year:2016.

Main features of the project: The wall poses full interior rehabilitation, for the use of ball and balomnano, in first class matches.

The proposal raises a capacity of 1000 spectators in an armchair, as well as the regulatory and functional adaptation to the required sporting, recreational and cultural uses.

The interior space arises as a heated, high-efficiency space.

The proposal is environmentally friendly with originating in the old Urantzu gable walls, as well as the structure of existing coverage.

 

TEAM

The team that has developed the proposal is made by: Daniel Azpilicueta, landscape architect; Miguel Larraburu, rigger; Jesús Bacaicoa, architect, computer graphics; Roberto Pezonaga, engineer, facilities and Eduardo Ozcoidi, consultant for the structures.
